Dana Snow is the founder and Broker of Record of Punk Rock Realty, Inc. and it’s her passion for punk rock music from which the brokerage got its name. Some of her favourite bands include the Ripcordz, BFGs, Anti-Flag, Lunachicks, Tribe 8, Bikini Kill and Bratmobile, amongst a thousand more. Her downtime is spent going to shows, riding her motorcycle, and hanging out with her wife Joanne and their friends, family, and chosen family.

Aside from her scholastic career, she also has over 25 years of experience working in the marketing and communications field in various roles including writer, researcher, web developer, graphic designer, and Director of Marketing & Communications.
Inspired by the unlimited potential of real estate, she purchased her first property in her early twenties and has owned countless properties since, employing a wide variety of real estate investment strategies to support her school, art, music, and travel interests.
If you want to know what it’s like to travel around North America in an orange 1972 VW van on a nonexistent budget, just ask her. She was a road trip master before there was GPS – being a creative problem-solver helped her then, and it still one of her best assets now.
Fast-forward to today, she has lived, renovated, and transacted in the majority of markets throughout the G.T.A., Greater Golden Horseshoe, and Southern and Central Ontario.
From Brantford, K/W/C, Hamilton, and Toronto, to Durham Region, Kawartha Lakes, Muskoka, and Peterborough / Northumberland, she is an active realtor in all of these areas, and able to provide you the guidance you need to make informed decisions about your future home.
Joanne has been a key ingredient of the Brokerage since it’s inception. As cheesy as it sounds, it was her total belief in her spouse, Broker of Record Dana, that inspired her to support the brokerage as much as possible, including getting licensed herself despite having a career she loves. Joanne has more than 20 years of experience working in Human Services in various capacities, particularly supporting individuals with complex issues. It is no surprise that helping people is her favourite aspect of working in real estate. Joanne holds the S.R.E.S. (Seniors Real Estate Specialist), a designation that brings these two fields together, focusing on helping seniors navigate today’s real estate market.
In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with Dana and their pets at their lakefront home and expressing herself through photography and writing. She feels passionate about wildlife and can be found birdwatching throughout the Greater Golden Horseshoe, sharing her love of the Trumpeter Swan in particular. Some of her favourite music includes artists such as Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem and Daft Punk.
Having been a “Realtor Wife” for years before pursuing her own licence, Joanne had the unique opportunity of observing how the real estate business works. As a result, she possesses a deep and nuanced grasp of the intricacies of this field that allows her to deliver exceptional service to her clients.
